My good friend and fellow Old Autos writer Nate Salter has sent word that his car club, the Thornhill Cruisers, is in need. The club has held a cruise night every Monday for the last 19 years, and it's one that gives back to the community, having raised some $200,000 for food banks, hospices, and health centres (and without charging anyone any money to bring in a cool car, or to come in to look at them - ever).
Now the club has lost its location, and it needs a new one before the cruise season starts up next spring. The site needs to be in York Region (north of Toronto), and have access to public washrooms and parking for classic cars and visitors.
Read this to see what's up, and if you know of any location that might work, Nate's information is there.
