I snapped that photo in Munich a couple of weeks ago. Gas prices are the reason why many Europeans buy small vehicles - if it's too costly to fill a big vehicle, they'll go for a smaller one.
But in North America, we distribute tax money to companies for them to make alternative vehicles such as electrics and fuel cells, and then expect them to compete in a marketplace where gas is relatively cheap. Read my rant in Sympatico Autos by clicking here.
