My friends and colleagues Michael Clark and Kelly Taylor - you can catch them on their Road Trip radio show - are the inspiration and perspiration behind a new product, The Cord Bug.
They live in Manitoba, where they laugh at me when I complain about six inches of snow, and they came up with this handy little device that sticks via a magnet onto the car and holds the block heater cord out of the way.
I figured hobbyists could also use it to route the trouble lamp cord when you're working on your car. If you come up with an innovative new use for it, they'll send you a free one.
The Bug's made in Canada and costs a mere nine bucks. Too late for stocking-stuffer time, but I'm sure your household has some birthdays or a Father's Day coming up. (In our household, such a thing would be considered perfectly acceptable for Valentine's Day, too. We're funny that way.)
