This is beside a large street in Munich, Germany, at the base of a statue. I spotted it a couple of years ago, and then on a recent trip, discovered that it's still there. It's a shrine to Michael Jackson, complete with photos, handwritten notes, stuffed animals, candles, and for the season, Christmas decorations.
When I came across it this time around, the two women in the photo were working on it. I'm guessing they come by every day, because they removed all of the spent candles, replaced them with new ones, and lit them. They also removed each photo frame and trinket, carefully cleaned each one with paper towels, and put it all back, and then took numerous photographs of the items. Ah, dear Michael. Gone, but not forgotten, it seems ...
