100 years of Dodge - and I DROVE them!

Call it the thrill of a lifetime. Dodge turns 100 years old this year, and to commemorate it, the company invited a very small group of journalists to the Meadowbrook estate in Michigan. It then pulled out 26 cars from its museum and archives, and invited us not just to look at them, but to drive them!

The 1915, 1919, and 1920 models were ride-only, but all the rest were "Keys are in 'em, take whatever you want." These were museum pieces, so of course the route was short and it definitely wasn't at full throttle, but still ... I drove this 1941 Command Car. I drove Challengers, Chargers, a NASCAR replica, a Viper. I drove a 1927, 1929, 1939 ... well, don't just take my word for it. Check out my photo gallery at Autofocus!
