Ram takes the Canadian Truck King Challenge

The Canadian Truck King Challenge - which I think should be renamed the Truck Queen Challenge, since I'm one of the judges - is one of the few (and perhaps the only) vehicle-of-the-year competition that tests trucks back-to-back under real working conditions. This year, the Ram 1500 with its new diesel engine and the Ram 2500 took the light- and heavy-duty crowns. Read more in my Toronto Star story.

Chevrolet wins the Canadian Truck King Challenge

The Chevrolet Silverado 3500 has won the Canadian Truck King Challenge for 2012. I was asked to be a judge on the event, which this year looked only at heavy-duty models: the Chevrolet, the Ford F350, and the Ram 3500.

We towed, hauled, and drove across southwestern Ontario with them, and while all three had good and bad points - and the top two were very close - the final tally went to GM. Read all about it in my report in the Toronto Star by clicking here.
