Pen World magazine asked me to write a story on Pilot/Namiki's newest series of maki-e pens, which ended up as the cover story on the latest issue. I can only dream about writing with such a pen - the maki-e technique isn't cheap - but you can read all about it here.

All About Me
- My name is Jil McIntosh, and I'm a pen addict. I love all types of pens, but especially fountain pens, and while I make my living primarily with a computer, you'll always find several pens inked and ready to go around it. I'm a writer by trade. I write about cars - old and new - for publications such as The National Post, Driving.ca, Autofocus.ca, AutoTRADER and Old Autos. I also write on a variety of subjects for various publications, but I'm proudest to say that I'm a frequent contributor to Pen World. Come join me here to talk about the writing instruments we love.
